Mercedes-Benz has teased a new show car that will make its debut at the 2017 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Mercedes posted a short video on Instagram with chief design officer Gorden Wagener announcing the upcoming surprise. There’s a few sketches laid out on a table and while the automaker focuses mainly on a fancy wheel design, you can spot a red coupe int he corner, suggesting the concept will be similar to the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Concept introduced at last year’s Pebble Beach event.

It does appear much shorter and smaller than the Maybach 6 Concept so it’s likely a sports car Mercedes is thinking of developing. The company promises it will be a big surprise and that it will be very beautiful. The video also reveals sketches for various angles of the car, but Mercedes notes the front end will be quite different than what we see in the sketch.

Look for more news on the new show car from Mercedes later this month, when the 2017 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance kicks off August 20, 2017.
