Few tires, if any, are as iconic and instantly recognizable as the BFGoodrich All-Terrain line. The original T/A KO helped bring off-road capable tires to the mainstream, and the KO2 has not only carried the torch but furthered the popularity and mission of its predecessor. A new BFGoodrich All-Terrain offering is a big moment in the tire world, and the company has just announced the launch of its All-Terrain T/A KO3, which builds on the legendary toughness and updates the tire for the modern era of off-road and street use.

BFGoodrich Tires is taking the all-terrain game to a new level with the introduction of the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tire. Building on the legendary performance of the KO2 tire, the KO3 integrates advanced tire technology to offer stronger performance and greater durability, perfect for today's off-road enthusiasts.

"We’ve spent the last 10 years since the KO2 tire's launch gathering data, racing, and refining our technology," said Harold Phillips, BFGoodrich Global General Manager. "The KO3 is the result of all this work. It's tougher, more durable, and offers better traction, taking all-terrain performance to the next level. We can't wait to see what our customers do with it—whether at work or at play."

Different sizes will become available at different times, with the company ultimately offering over 100 sizes by sometime in 2026.

The KO3 tire will launch with 13 sizes available in May, followed by 17 additional sizes in August, and another 5 in October. More sizes will be released throughout 2025 and 2026, ultimately offering over 100 different sizes to meet a wide range of off-road needs. Expect to see much of this in the 18 through 20-inch size range as bigger tires (and wheels) continue to grow in popularity.

We're happy to hear that BFGoodrich didn't just slap a new look on the KO2 and call it done. The company notes that the All-Terrain T/A KO3 tire offers improved wear performance, enhanced gravel road durability, and increased snow traction while maintaining the iconic sidewall toughness of the KO2 tire. With a new tread pattern and all-terrain tread compound, the KO3 is designed for longevity and reliability, even on rough terrain. Toughness is at the heart of the KO3 tire, thanks to BFGoodrich's CoreGard Technology, which gives it excellent sidewall durability. The serrated shoulder design and Mud-Phobic Bars ensure it has a solid grip even in tough conditions, earning the KO3 the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake severe-snow rating.

Key benefits of the All-Terrain T/A KO3 tire include:

  • Better wear performance compared to the KO2
  • Enhanced gravel road durability with its optimized footprint and full-depth 3D locking sipes
  • Improved snow traction due to its new tread pattern and all-terrain tread compound

BFGoodrich has once again pushed the boundaries of all-terrain tires. Whether you're hitting the trails or navigating challenging weather conditions, the All-Terrain T/A KO3 tire seems engineered to perform.
