Innovation is driving the Genesis brand into the spotlight for today’s luxury shopper.

From value to service to feature content to technology, the Genesis brand is rapidly changing the luxury car ownership experience for today’s modern car buyer. In all aspects of purchasing, driving, servicing and owning a luxury car, Genesis does things differently—and a new approach to luxury is built on clever innovation during every phase of the Genesis experience.

From pre-purchase research and consultations to the driving experience to after-sales servicing, Genesis offers up a uniquely different take on luxury motoring that’s attracting new customers from all walks of life.

Below, we’ll look at the five most innovative things about the Genesis Luxury Car Brand.

Standard Safety

Safety isn’t optional at Genesis, and that’s exactly why you won’t find the brand’s high-end safety and support systems bundled into a high-cost add-on package. With all Genesis models, including the popular Genesis G80, a full array of the brand’s finest safety features and technologies are included. This innovative approach standardizes high-tech systems that assist drivers in detecting nearby hazards, support safe drivers in staying out of collisions, and help drivers to stay aware of their surroundings at all times. Should a collision prove unavoidable, crash-optimized body structures with strategically deployed high-strength steel and an advanced airbag system protect those inside. Unsurprisingly, all Genesis models are Top Safety Pick+ rated by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). When it comes to crash impact prevention and protection, there’s no higher rating in the industry.

Dynamic Driving Performance

The Genesis G80 comes standard with a 311-horsepower V6 engine that creates a truly and dynamic exhaust note—and incredible power. And steering, suspension, transmission and throttle calibrations can all be toggled on the fly. In milliseconds, Genesis models can be set into various pre-defined drive modes, selected by the driver to instantly change the character and feel of the vehicle. Your desired blend of all-out comfort and dynamic performance is just a button-press away.

Genesis Intelligent Assistant

Networking the latest in connected-car technology and smartphone capability, the Genesis Intelligent Assistant allows drivers to stay connected with, and in control of, their vehicle at all times. Intelligent alerts give drivers at-a-glance information about the vehicle’s upcoming maintenance requirements, current fuel level, tire pressures and more. Plus, its remote start functionality allows drivers to start their Genesis from anywhere they like—even from deep inside of their office before taking a client to lunch, or at the moment they pass through the baggage claim after returning from a trip. Drivers can also use their smartphone to control door locks and climate control functions. The Genesis Intelligent Assistant can even sync with your calendar, favorite points of interest, and more. It’s innovation, allowing full control over your life at the wheel, right from your favorite smartphone.

Genesis Service Valet

For busy professionals and owners from all walks of life, having a vehicle serviced can be a time-consuming process that takes away from other pressing issues and goals. That’s exactly why the Genesis Service Valet exists. In moments, a technician can perform a remote diagnostic check of your vehicle, regardless of its location. Should service be needed, a representative will pick your Genesis up, leave a Genesis courtesy vehicle as a loaner, and return your Genesis when it’s ready. Scheduled maintenance is, of course, included in the vehicle purchase price for a 3 years from purchase date, too. With this innovative approach to servicing, drivers will have their cars picked up for service at their convenience.

Innovative High-tech Features

With features like a Heads-up Display, climate-controlled seats, the latest in outward-looking hazard detection, wireless smartphone charging, a hands-free smart trunk system and adaptive steerable headlights with automatic high beams, Genesis drivers can rest assured they’re supported fully by the very best features available in the premium vehicle segment today. Don’t miss the high-definition Lexicon® stereo either. This available high-tech audio system is optional on the Genesis G80 and standard on the G90 for fantastic audio performance from any playback source. Audiophiles can even specify additional system upgrades, for the ultimate mobile listening space. Finally, the Genesis can even detect your approach in a dark parking lot, and automatically activate exterior lighting to welcome you as you walk up.

What's a "Heads-up" Display? I know what a Head-up display is but not a "Heads-up" display? Seems the Hyundai/Genesis marketing department isn't familiar with current automobile terminology and where the term "head-up" comes from (hint; it DOES NOT come a warning for being a spectator at a baseball game!). These geniuses made the same terminology faux-pas with their new Kona vehicle. Get with it Hyundai - your amateur status is showing.

They should also name the price. I think being pragmatic and practical is luxurious... and I don't want to waste my money on an overpriced German car.
