A photo of the new Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe has leaked ahead of the sedan’s debut in Geneva this week.

The AMG GT Coupe, which is actually a sedan, has svelte styling with narrow windows and AMG’s new Panamericana grille. This photo also reveals the new AMG four-door will be available in matte black with yellow brake calipers and a medium sized rear wing. The interior will be typical Mercedes – so you can expect a double-display widescreen infotainment system, configurable mood lighting and turbine-style air vents, among other typically Daimler design features.

Under the hood will be Mercedes’ 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which will be making well over 500 hp. A plug-in hybrid AMG GT Coupe is expected to arrive eventually as well, which could make as much as 800 hp thanks to the same bi-turbo V8 and an electric powertrain.

The new AMG GT Coupe will put new performance sedans like the BMW M5 and Porsche Panamera Turbo in its sights when it debuts in Geneva this week. Stay tuned for more information on AMG’s latest creation.
