The Jaguar F-Pace SVR will make its international debut at the New York auto show this week, the British automaker has confirmed.

It’s long been suspected that Jaguar had a V8-powered F-Pace in development, but now the company has finally confirmed the SUV’s existence. Prototypes for the vehicle revealed it will have large front air intakes, larger wheels and brakes, a rear hatch spoiler and a rear diffuser with four neatly integrated exhaust tips. Under the hood will likely be the same 575 hp 5.0-liter supercharged V8 found in the F-Type SVR, which we’re willing to bet will be paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

“Developed and engineered by Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations, the F-PACE SVR is the fastest and most powerful version of this award-winning SUV,” the automaker said in a release, staying slim on details.

The F-Pace SVR will be joined at Jaguar’s booth by the new I-Pace EV, which is celebrating its North American debut following an appearance in Geneva earlier this month. AutoGuide.com will be reporting live from New York this week, so stay tuned for more coverage on both of these exciting new Jaguar-Land Rover developed SUVs.
