Lincoln has begun teasing a new vehicle debut happening at the 2017 L.A. Auto Show.

The American automaker has confirmed a vehicle will bow in Los Angeles tomorrow, and there are a couple possibilities on what it could be. The Lincoln MKX, which is the company’s best-selling model, is due for an update for the 2019 model year, so a redesign could make its premiere in Los Angeles. There’s the possibility it will take on the Nautilus nameplate, something Ford trademarked earlier this year, as originally uncovered by AutoGuide.com.

But given the teaser, Lincoln could surprise us with the debut of a new Aviator in concept form, a model that would eventually replace the existing MKT, according to recent reports.

Unfortunately the short teaser clip doesn’t reveal too much, but the company does say it has a feeling “this vehicle is going to make a lasting impression.”

The new vehicle premiere at the L.A. Auto Show will be joined by the facelifted 2019 MKC, which has already been introduced.
