2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Priced Competitively at $42,990

Alfa Romeo’s first SUV heads to dealerships this summer and pricing has finally been released.

The standard 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio features a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 280 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque, leading its class. The base Stelvio starts at $42,990 ($54,790 CAD). The engine is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and will take the Stelvio to 60 mph from a standstill in 5.4 seconds (0-100 km/h in 5.5 seconds), on the way to a top speed of 144 mph (232 km/h). The base model comes standard with Alfa DNA drive mode selector, class-exclusive carbon fiber driveshaft, dual exhaust with bright tips, 18-inch aluminum wheels, leather seating, bi-xenon headlights with signature LED daytime running lights, LED tail lights, backup camera with rear park sensors, remote start, passive entry with Keyless Go, power liftgate and a Formula One-inspired flat-bottom steering wheel with integrated push button start.

Stelvio buyers can also opt for the available Sport Package for $1,800 ($2,500 CAD), which adds 19-inch wheels, sport-tuned suspension, steering column-mounted aluminum paddle shifters, sport steering wheel, genuine aluminum accents, gloss black window trim surround, black roof rails, aluminum sport pedals and footrest, colored brake calipers and more. Also available is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

The 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti will start from $44,990 ($56,790 CAD) and adds even more premium content and convenience offerings like standard 19-inch wheels, genuine wood interior accents, an 8.8-inch widescreen entertainment and information display, SiriusXM, front park sensors, heated steering wheel, heated front seats and more. Two packages are available, both priced at $2,500: Ti Sport ($2,500 CAD) and Ti Lusso ($3,250 CAD). The Ti Sport adds 20-inch wheels, sport-tuned suspension, 12-way power high-performance sport leather seats including 4-way lumbar and power bolsters with thigh extenders, steering column-mounted aluminum paddle shifters, sport steering wheel, gloss black window trim surround, black roof rails, aluminum sport pedals and footrest, colored brake calipers and more.

The Ti Lusso package will be available later this year and adds 19-inch wheels, Luxury Pieno Fiore Italian leather seats with Cannelloni inserts, 12-way power front seats including 4-way lumbar, leather-wrapped dash and upper door trim with accent stitching, genuine wood trim in dark gray oak or Lusso-exclusive light walnut, luxury steering wheel, aluminum pedals footrest and more.
