For the first time since its quiet debut, the radical AM-RB 001 will venture out from Aston Martin’s headquarters in Gaydon, England, to make its North American debut in Toronto on February 16, 2017.

Its jump over the Atlantic puddle for the Canadian International Auto Show will be the hypercar’s first appearance in front of the anoraks on the global auto show stage. Accompanying the AM-RB 001 will be Dr. Andy Palmer, the president and CEO of Aston Martin, and prime catalyst behind Aston Martin’s collaboration with Red Bull Racing.

“It is a special treat for Canadian car enthusiasts to be the first in North America to get an in-person look at this breathtaking Aston Martin-Red Bull concept hypercar,” says Jason Campbell, general manager of the Canadian International AutoShow. “It is extra special to have a global automotive leader of the stature of Dr. Palmer on hand to share the story of the car and his vision for Aston Martin.”

The ultra-super-hypercar radiates rarity: lightweight carbon-fiber tub, Adrian Newey penned aerodynamics, naturally aspirated V12, 1:1 power-to-weight ratio and trick Formula 1 style suspension. Not to mention, Aston Martin says the car will be strictly limited to only 150 units, and that includes prototypes and track-only versions.

First deliveries are expected to begin sometime in 2019 and the price tag remains a mystery, but Aston Martin allegedly has over 300 people already lined up to get their hands on one.

It’s unclear if its appearance in Toronto will be a regurgitation of the original launch presentation from July 2016, or if we’ll receive more detailed information as the car prepares to go ballistic.
