Poll: Audi Q5 or Acura RDX?
Which compact luxury crossover would YOU rather own, the Audi Q5 or Acura RDX? Let the world know by voting in today’s poll!
The Audi is offered in five different flavors, from a base gasoline model, to a diesel-powered version to a hybrid and even a high-performance S variant.
The entry-level Q5 features an achingly familiar 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It’s good for 220 horses and 258 lb-ft of torque. Its dance partner is a responsive eight-speed automatic transmission. This drivetrain combination can propel the vehicle to mile-a-minute velocity in just 7.0 seconds. Audi’s famous quattro all-wheel drive is standard across the board.
Shifting gears, so to speak, the Acura is motivated by a 3.5-liter V6, the only engine available. It puts out 279 horsepower and 252 lb-ft of torque, all of which is routed through a standard six-speed automatic transmission.
Unlike the Audi, front-wheel drive is standard in the RDX, but you can also opt for four-corner traction if you reside in areas that receive the wrath of all four seasons.
And there you go, that’s a quick overview of these two popular compact crossover. Which one do YOU prefer? Which one would YOU rather make monthly payments on? Vote in our latest poll and let’s see whether Audi or Acura has an edge! If you still need more information about these models, please compare them directly at this link.
