It’s been 45 years since Mercedes-Benz has offered a convertible four-seater flagship.

The German automaker has introduced the S-Class Cabriolet at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, sporting a three-layer fabric roof that can be opened or closed at speeds up to 37 mph in 20 seconds. Two models will be available at launch, with the S550 equipped with a 4.6-liter V8 engine providing 449 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. That needing more can opt for the Mercedes-AMG S63 with a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 sporting 577 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque.
