Jaguar F-Type R AWD Bloodhound SSC RRV Unveiled

Jaguar will be supporting the Bloodhound SSC World Land Speed Record attempt.

The British automaker has revealed the Jaguar F-Type R AWD Bloodhound SSC Rapid Response Vehicle (RRV), the latest project from Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations division.

It features a bespoke livery created by Jaguar Design that incorporates the Bloodhound SSC colors. The car will make its official debut at Coventry MotoFest, where it will also be taking part in laps on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31. At the event, Jaguar will also be previewing its activities for this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, where the company’s theme will be “Flat Out and Fearless: Racing on the Edge.”

Jaguar is a technical partner of Bloodhound SSC and is supplying engines, engineering expertise and a number of support vehicles for the attempt to break the world land speed record. Late last year in November, the Jaguar F-Type R AWD fulfilled a critical role in the development of the Bloodhound SSC with a communications test.
