Bentley Bentayga Name Confirmed, Details Released

The Bentley SUV officially has its name and the British automaker has shared some details on the upcoming model.

At the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, Bentley confirmed that its upcoming luxury SUV will be named the Bentayga and will launch next year worldwide. In addition, the company plans to add diesel and plug-in hybrid variants in 2017 to complement the W12-powered model.

The plug-in hybrid model will be capable of traveling up to 31 miles in pure electric mode and will come equipped with either a V6 or V8 for its powerplant. As for the diesel Bentayga, expect a V8 mill to be used, a first for the automaker.
