The first official photos of the 2016 Fiat 500X have been released, giving us a very complete look of this rugged Italian sub-compact crossover.

Two photos come from Italian photography site ICS Photography showing us a nice view of the front and rear three-quarter of this Fiat.

The Fiat 500X shares its platform with the Jeep Renegade. Expect the powertrain to be shared as well, meaning a 1.4-liter turbocharged four cylinder engine or a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter four-cylinder will be available in the small crossover.

More details will come out this week about the 2016 Fiat 500X, so keep your eyes peeled for our 2014 Paris Motor Show Coverage.

I think the 500X will be a huge hit world wide. It is beautiful, nimble, and a great value.

Nope. I am a cheap (value conscious) average guy who wants a small but capable awd crossover that is fun to drive with a touch of luxury but won't break the bank, The 500X with the 2.4 l and 9 spd looks like it might check all the boxes. I'm also considering the GLA and Q3, but those get pricey really quickly with decent options added.
