Hot off the launch of the new Huracan, Lamborghini announced today that it will host its first-ever U.S.-based performance driving school.

It’s called the Lamborghini Accademia, and the first event takes place from September 14 to 17 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca before moving on to Hockenheim, Germany. The program was developed by Squara Corse, Lamborghini’s motorsports team and consists of a one-day event that includes slalom, acceleration, braking and drifting training in the morning on key parts of the Laguna Seca track including the corkscrew while the afternoon is filled with full course lapping with one-on-one coaching. Participants get a certificate at the end of the program to mark their completion of the course.

While the program is meant to highlight the new Huracan, Lamborghini will have its entire product range on hand for participants to drive. The program costs $4,995 including food, accommodation and the driving program. It costs another $795 to bring a non-driving partner along as well.

Lamborghini is also planning a winter driving course that will cover the 2014 – 2015 season for which dates will be announced soon.
