Lamborghini, a company known for its massive wailing naturally aspirated supercars, might launch a turbocharged V8 model.

The upcoming Lamborghini Urus SUV might be the Italian automaker’s first turbo-powered vehicle as the brand looks for the best way to meet increasing emissions requirements while appealing to a broader group of potential customers. Like many other automakers that have turn to turbochargers to increase performance while maintaining fuel economy, Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann admitted that the Urus could feature “a turbo engine for the first time” for the brand.

As for which turbocharged V8 Lamborghini will use, that’s still being considered. The most logical fit would be to borrow the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 found in the Audi RS6 and RS7, which the Italian automaker has access to from its parent company. That powerplant packs 560 hp, which would be a respectable figure for a Lamborghini SUV.
