The New York International Auto Show isn’t slowing us down from testing new cars, including a pair of compacts from Japan. Take a look at what we’re testing this week on AutoGuide Now.

2014 Honda Civic Sedan.
2014 Honda Civic: Mike Schlee, Road Test Editor – “Last fall we compared the 2013 Honda Civic sedan against the all-new 2014 Toyota Corolla and after the Corolla won the comparison, many readers immediately demanded a rematch with the improved 2014 Civic Sedan. Leading the improvements for the Civic is a new continuously variable transmission replacing the dated five-speed automatic. Will this be enough to reverse the finishing order? This week Luke and I are back in the Corolla and Civic to find out.” Tweet any questions you have of the new Civic to Mike and he’ll certainly get back to you.

2014 Toyota Corolla: Luke Vandezande, Managing Editor – “It looks mean, but there’s really nothing exciting about the Toyota Corolla. Despite all that, it sells like stink and saves fuel. To quite a few people, that’s more than enough reason to sign on the dotted line. Should it be? Tweet at Luke with questions about the car.”

2 014 Audi A4: Craig Cole, Associate Editor – “I get to spend a week in Audi’s elegant and opulent A4. This sporty sedan has been on the market in its current form for a number of years now, but is it aging gracefully or is it time for a total re-design? That’s one of the questions I aim to answer with this test drive.”
