K-Pax McLaren 12C GT3 Revealed in Race Livery
Competing in World Challenge since 2007, this season’s K-Pax Racing will be taking on a whole new look.
Replacing its Volvo S60.R models, the team has unveiled the livery for its McLaren 12C GT3 race cars, which will be competing in the nine-event, 16-race series that starts on March 28 with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. Continuing with its signature blue and gold theme, the K-Pax Racing McLaren 12C GT3s will be piloted by veteran Alex Figge and Robert Thorne.

K-Pax will be chasing its fourth series championship this year and will be led by Figge, who has captured five K-Pax wins in three seasons. This season will also mark the return of McLaren to North American sports car racing in 30 years.
“Ever since our 2007 debut in the World Challenge, we’ve run K-PAX Racing like a business,” said K-PAX team owner Jim Haughey. “We expect to go fast and we expect to look sharp – from our cars and pit crew to our tents and trailers. Working closely this year with the McLaren team and being linked to their incredible racing heritage certainly reinforces this attitude.”
