Maserati GT Concept Rumored to Bow at Geneva

Rumor has it that Maserati will unveil a new GT concept at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.

The model is said to be poised to compete against the Jaguar F-Type and certain Porsche 911 models and is expected to usher in a new design language for the Italian automaker. It is also rumored that the car will benefit from the turbocharged powerplant that debuted in the Ferrari California T.

In the Ferrari California T, the 3.8-liter powerplant boasts 552 hp and 523 lb-ft of torque mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The only confirmed vehicle that Maserati is bringing to the Geneva Motor Show is the production version of its Ermenegildo Zegna edition Quattroporte.
