Bentley will be returning to the far north of Finland early next year for its Power on Ice driving experience.

The new and extended edition of the event will take place on February 6 through March 6, 2014 with attendees getting to spend time developing advanced driving techniques in harsh winter conditions with four-time World Rally Champion and honorary Bentley Boy, Juha Kankkunen. Kankkunen, who has 23 world rally victories, has broken the world ice speed driving record twice behind the wheel of Bentley’s Continental cars.

Also making its debut at the Power on Ice event next year is the Bentley Flying Spur model that will join an array of Continental GT coupes in Finland. The new Flying Spur is powered by the British automaker’s 6.0-liter W12 turbocharged engine with 616 hp and is capable of hitting 200 mph.

The Power on Ice event is a four-day adventure that offers guests the chance to unwind at the Ruka Peak resort.

“The Flying Spur is going to be an excellent addition to the Power on Ice experience and we’re looking forward to showing what it is capable of,” said Kankkunen. “There’s going to be something special about driving a luxury car you’d expect to see in Monte Carlo or London across the snow and frozen lakes,” comments Kankkunen.
