The 2018 Lexus LC500h is raising the bar for luxury hybrids.

Over the recent years, automakers have proved that hybrids don’t necessarily have to be boring and the latest model to back up the statement is the Lexus LC500h. Powered by a 3.5-liter V6 paired to an electric motor, the LC500h has a total system output of 354 horsepower. And even though performance is shy of the standard LC500’s 467 hp, the Japanese automaker revealed that it can go zero-to-60 mph in under five seconds, compared to the LC500’s 4.5-second time.

Fuel economy figures for the luxury hybrid coupe haven’t been announced, but it is expected to arrive dealerships in the U.S. starting spring 2017, so expect more information then.
