The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in Monterey, California, is one of the most prestigious events for classic cars in the world.

Walking out onto the perfectly manicured grounds of Pebble Beach Golf Links resort, spectators are stunned the the millions of dollars worth of vintage cars that surround them. Everything from painstakingly restored and rare classic Ferraris, to pre-war race cars, and impossibly beautiful art deco Delahayes to dilapidated old Fords that were just uncovered in a barn after a half century of neglect are on display here.

One of the highlights are the beautiful hood ornaments. They are intricate little pieces of design that really remind you that they sure don’t build them like this anymore.
