Mitsubishi is giving the Lancer Evolution a few upgrades for the 2015 model year, though the vitals all remain.

All models of the Evo will now feature heated side view mirrors with turn signals along with drop cup holders with a lid. The upgraded GSR model now gets a new premium package which includes the amenities of the sight and sound package along with leather seating, a sunroof, heated front seats, sound dampening enhancement and a piano-black front console box.

Finally, a host of interior upgrades are coming to the top-spec Lancer Evo MR, including a 9 speaker 710-watt Rockford Fosgate stereo, keyless entry, auto dimming rearview mirror, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlights, color-matched heat extractor vents, increased sound deadening and a piano-black center console.

As mentioned, the car stays mechanically the same, still getting its power from a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder that makes 291 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. It can be hooked into a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic, with power sent to all-four wheels thanks to Mitsubishi’s super all-wheel control system.
