It seems like it was just yesterday that the Fiat 500 made its official North American debut at the LA Auto Show, but that was three years ago.

This year, the Italian automaker went back to the past with a “1957 Edition” Fiat 500 model that celebrates 57 years of the iconic model. The limited production Fiat 500 is based on the Lounge model and is available in standard Bianco (white), Verde Chiaro (light green) or the eye-catchy Celete (celestial blue). Both the colored shades come with a white-painted roof for a two-tone theme.

What really makes the Fiat 500 1957 Edition rad is its unique retro-styled wheels. The 16-inch rollers feel a wide chromed lip with a colored accent that matches the body of the vehicle. Of course coming standard on the model are sport-tuned suspension and all-season performance tires.

The Fiat 500 1957 Edition will arrive U.S. dealerships early 2014 and pricing will be announced closer to its official release.
